jasongogal ::: Favorites Interesting to see your technique. Last time I made dosas, the batter seemed to be too thick and didn't all cook properly. As soon as I would add it to the pan, it would kind of coagulate and clump up. I also used a non-stick pan. I really need to try it on a tawa. And with a bit thinner batter. At least the pappu pulusu turned out really well...:) 07-08-24 12:41:05 __________________________________________________
Englishtamilsays ::: Favorites No, I'm not from Coimbatore. Although my accent has its roots in the 'Kongu belt', kosuru is a word that is quite commonly used in Madras and the media. Mine is a concoction of Kongu and Dindigul Tamil with some refinement over both regions in pronouncing certain sounds (la, La, zha etc). 07-08-11 04:27:15 __________________________________________________

englishtamil ::: Favorites Yeah, they are all the same. But for paniyaram you can experiment with extra garnishing. All 3 dishes have different varieties which follow slightly different mixes (cilantro idli, sweet paniyaram etc.). But the basic batter is the same. 07-07-14 15:13:29 __________________________________________________
