1. Nope, ID is still a valid theory on where everything came from. How has it exactly debunked it?
2. Wrong, creationism has connections to the Bible, but ID does not. ID says little if anything about the designer himself, but focuses on what we observe, ie, the creation itself.
3. There are, you're just ignoring them with religious zeal.

the theory of evolution makes predictions that can be tested. it has passed every test for over 150yrs.
ID makes no predictions. there are no test that can be done to validate it.

Total nonsense. "Intelligent design" is synonyous with "creation science". Replacing the word "creator" with "designer" does not change the fact that you are specifically implicating a supernatural being, since one of the basic principles of ID is that life could not have evolved through natural means. Darwinian evolution is supported by every single natural history museum and every single university biology department throughout the entire world. And despite what the idiots behind ID creationism will tell you, all of those organisms are not taking part in a vast scientific conspiracy, nor are they made up of idiots. Evolution is mainstream science, and the failure of Ben Stein to accept it is not going to change that one bit.

Very disappointed in Ben Stein. Thought he was smarter than that. What are the scientists afraid of. They are afraid of a bunch of religious fanatics reaching the point where they can teach a bunch of crap to students, and the american society being the laughing stock of the world. They are afraid of losing what knowledge they do have, and the rest of the world surpassing them in scientific endeavors.
