Konan witnesses this scene.
ペインに報告 ペイン「そうか・・・自来也先生か・・・」
She notifies Pain, who says "I see... Jiraiya-Sensei..."
ペインの体は自来也小隊の写真の目つきの悪いやつに見えなくもない
The spoiler provider informs us that Pain's body is not unlike the "kid with the nasty look in his eyes" who appears in the picture of Jiraiya's former team.

Konan attacks Jiraiya, but he dodges it with a toad jutsu (the name of which I don't understand.)
自来也「術のキレも良くなったが いい女にもなったのオ・・・子南」
Jiraiya: "Not only have you gotten better with your jutsu, but you've grown into a mighty fine woman as well, Konan."
This last line appears clearly legible on the spoiler picture.

Pein prob is from Konoha and these first 2 bodies we see him in are rain nin bodies. The one with long hair i bet is Hanzo's body his KILLER BODY!!!! ^^

i think its interesting. i agree it could be pein ina body he likes fighting because of special jutsus it may have..especially since he may end up fighting jiraiya..the other one we see him in could justbe the one he uses to control rainfall in the village and perform the bijuu sealing jutsus of the jinchuriikii's only. very interesting.

pain couldn't have been jiraya's pupil, because that would mean that he came from the hidden leaf village, and plus he wears a different headband. Besides, jiraya is a very well known ninja being a sanin, so its very possible that pain could have known about him.

I dont know if konan was really on jiraya's team seeing how her hair color was blue in the asakui poster, but in the manga her hair is clearly black, so maybe the hair color on the poster was an error. And also, the person standing next to the fourth looked more like a guy than a girl. but it is posible since konan has not reveal her headband yet!

yes is pein in another body,look the piercing or can be a body with the justos of deidara ,just like the jutso of kisame and itachi bodys so can be a clone of deidara or not but look the piercing i think is pein but is very crrazy xD

pein definately know jiraiya because when konan tells him the intruder is jiraiya , pein says oh jiriaya-sama that brings back memories, but i changed into this body to kill the intruder so i will kill him anyway

thats not!..deidara had( well, had) totally different eyes.the only resemblance is the long hair, blonde or blonde is what it seems here..anyway..is definately not deidaras body.why peni would take deidaras body..the maximum thing he could be interested in could be their hand with that tongues...
