i had a friend try to show me a 7/8 groove once and it went straight over my head. but no more!
one day il make it over to the drum lab from here in brisbane australia to have a session.
and keep posting these vids on youtube, makes it easier for me to show other drummers who are too cheap to buy em like me.

kk thanks dude..ive been playing drums like a psycho ever since i bought em...and luckly i knew the dude from the music store..so he helped me get some of the kit tuned..but then i broke most the skins..so the only skins on my kit..that are in tune..are my snare and kick hahaha the rest..is kinda..well left in limbo

Hey Mike This Video helped me out...cuz my teacher always made me play 7/8 or 5/4 and i wud always turn to my classmate..whoever was with me..and ask wtf does he mean..but thanks to you..i understand...and question..i heard you were gonna put out a video about tuning....have you gotten to it..or is your plate to full of other videos?

Absolutely, 7/4 is a somewhat common time signature. The 7 means that you will be counting to seven and the 4 means that you will be counting Quarter notes.
