I didn't know about Ramzan Amerhanov, I apologize. Thank you for the information. I knew that Nodar worked on it as well, I've even seen the rehearsals here on youtube I think. I just didn't know he wasn't staging it from the scratch. Thanks again:)

geus 1, you know a lot abaut this group and dances but there is something you are wrong,I have to correct iy..This checen dance is not staged by nodar pliyev..it's staged by Ramzan Amerhanov(checen)in
2000.Nodar Pliyev started to work wiht Nart Dance at the end of 2003, he added some figures and combinations to this checen coreografy but it's mainly staged by Ramzan..You can see also the original version of this dance here in you tube if you write "Nart Dans Selam Dans1"

This dance is not part of Turkey's culture. It is part of Caucasian Culture, which the Ottoman Empire actually tried very hard to destroy:) As for this particular performance, it is Chechen dance with huge musical and choreographic influence of Georgian mountaineers dances. It is staged by Nodar Pliev, who is not Turk (and doesn't even work in Turkey any more), but a Georgia-born Ossetian from Borjomi. In his younger years he was dancing in Sukhishvili ensemble.

abrek 1986, you sound more ignorant then an average "abrek":) Keep reading russian books, they will educate you more:) North Caucasus is still Russia, they're losing their heritage, language, sending kids to Russian schools and kissing Kremlin's stars, while Georgia is free:) Nodar Pliev, who staged this dance is a Georgia-born Ossetian, who was raised and professionally developed as a dancer in Georgia. He was dancing in Georgian Sukhishvili ensemble.

The dancers are mostly amateurs (some Caucasians from Turkey, also Georgians and Chechens)but quite talented. Very good job by the choreographer Nodar Pliev (a Georgia-born Ossetian, great dancer, ex soloist of Sukhishvili ensemble)

This is a Chechen dance with huge resemblance to Georgian "Kazbeguri". The similarity is natural because Chechens and Georgian mountaineers are genetically related ethnicities, with same roots. All movements, especially chorus and the soloist in black (a Chechen guy, Metin) in duet are typically Chechen, large part of music (except the very beginning and final solos) is also pure Chechen.
