But is that really the best solution for our future and the entire planet? You know, let's face it, America isn't really doing anything it hasn't done, um, in our short history. We've invaded and exploited for the benefit of our population from the beginning."
"You know, it's only been 150 years or so, but our Government and the President ran the Native Americans off of their lands by using the Cavalry. That military action facilitated expansion, which lead to farming. Farming became an economic force that would have never taken place without stealing this land. Technology like freight trains, cotton gins and steamboats would have never have been so important to the Industrial Revolution. So in a way I guess crime does pay, and in part has made the lives of ordinary Americans what it is today."
"That is why I think America will always take over the resources, by force if needed, to fuel the American machine. This is also why I think, the reason, were so interested in the Middle East is to gain control of the largest oil reserves in the world. It has nothing to do with freeing those supposedly oppressed citizens. Why would we be concerned with a democratic Iraq, while genocide of a thousand times worse is happening in countries all over Africa?"
"It's because Iraq is 2nd to Iran in oil reserves, which combined, most experts say will only last about 40 years at current consumption rates. So "timing" is very important. America simply can't until the oil to runs out before deciding what to do. I think it's unfortunate but the troops are necessary to occupy Iraq. It's a valid strategy. But the invasion, after ah, after we invaded, it had already started the American machine into motion and that "machine" is destined to control the entire globe."

And, ah, you know, I know you're old enough to remember how the shortages effected our society and, you know, waiting in line, going to the gas station every other day, that sort of thing. But just think how, you know, smaller, powerless country must have coped with it?"
"That is why I think that for America to be in control of our destiny, we must control the oil. Exiting (leaving Iraq) now and bringing home the troops, truly wastes the money that has been spent on this necessary occupation. It has to take place at some time. Following through and gaining control of the resources that our current and future enemies require to run their countries, makes a lot more sense from the militaristic and economic point of view".
"What if, after all this fighting and stealing of land and resources, America was able to create a scenario, where a global economy becomes possible? Would the world be a better place if food, energy, restrictions on pollution, crime, access to goods and services where under one large umbrella without political embargoes, irrespective of physical borders."
"We've seen how rich countries with oil have become, but if that wealth were to be American controlled, what could this nation do? Would people a hundred years from now look back look back at history and see this, what's happening right now, as a natural progression of the mightiest nation making the toughest decisions for the benefit of them? Could this be done without our military occupying the Middle East right now? Could this be the ultimate plan our government must succeed at? Or, are we going to ignore the fact that at current rates, America has the most to lose when it come to world policy and influence over the next 40 years or so, by NOT controlling the oil flow."

Glen isn't the only one who thinks this way.
So many believe that the U.S.A. has the right to exploit and steal other nation's resources, because we are somehow better than everyone else.
It may be futile to try to change people's minds, it may be impossible to change someone's point of view.

The CIA unit hunting for Osama was dissolved by President Bush, he said he doesn't really spend that much time thinking about it. Bush was the one who didn't read the Presidential Dailt Breifing entitled, "Osama Bin Laden-Determined To Strike Within the United States", remember? But hey, you're 20, right? Oh, this IS an ILLEGAL war and history will judge us harshly for it. Your political naiveté` is only equaled utter lack of knowledge about the real reasons we are involved in Iraq. The Oil Law that Bush is trying to get rammed through the Iraqi congress mandates a 75%-25% split of the oil revenues with the Oil Corporations getting the lion's share of the profits. Of course the troops are not "pumping oil", that's why the private contractors are there, wake up man.

By the way, the CIA unit for Osama was called off 3 times by the Clinton administration in order to keep up our oil revenue in that country... Eventually leading to the planning and execution of 9-11.

This is not an illegal war, nor is it a war for oil. Have you ever once talked to a soldier who has pumped oil or taken oil barrels out of Iraq? Your argument on an "oil" war is dumb and you should probably not believe the media because about 85% of them are against the war and are willing to lie about it.

I don't know if you are allowed to read or watch the news, but do you realize that President Bush disbanded the CIA unit that was hunting for Osama Bin Laden over a year ago? I was all for going to Afghanistan to destroy the Taliban and AlQaeda and to capture and/or KILL Osama. It was this incompetent AWOL President who allowed Osama Bin Laden to escape from Tora Bora. I am tired of OUR TROOPS having to be referees in the Iraq Civil War. Support the Troops, bring them home!

No where in my video did I impugn or denigrate the American flag, I have never and would never burn or destroy an American flag. I am taken aback at the insinuation that I have somehow disrespected the American flag or the troops that serve under it. I have made videos (Support Our Troops?, This Is Why I Hate Republicans And Their Policies) and called Congress and my representatives, all in SUPPORT of OUR TROOPS. I am against illegal wars of aggression, not ALL wars.
