Description: 1985 playoffs, the powerful Montreal Canadiens are facing their provincial rivals the Quebec Nordiques. It's the third time they meet, Quebec won in '82 and Montreal in '84. It's the quarterfinals, seventh game, Quebec takes the lead 2-0 at the begining of the second period. Montreal comes back and scores twice to tie the game. Third period is no decider, it's overtime hockey and the tension is insupportable. |

kevkan1974 ::: Favorites Dear viewers, Canadiens always found a way to beat the Nords, the bruins and the hopeless Whalers. We feasted on these teams for years. And the hockey hall of fame should be in Mtl, not in Toronto. 07-10-05 11:36:43 __________________________________________________
kevkan1974 ::: Favorites Que-Mtl rivalry is much better than the stupid battle of ontario... Ott-Tor ! Back in the early 80's hockey was more exciting and rivalries more intense. Free agency is killing the game now. Players are always changing teams. 07-10-05 11:30:52 __________________________________________________
boomac62 ::: Favorites Hartford did support the Whale. Too bad the ownership never gave us much of a team ,save the 86 team...Carolina is a good hockey area now they drew far more than Boston,....gee is Boston now a bad hockey town?...hmmm..move the B's to Las vegas anybody? 07-10-01 12:21:38 __________________________________________________
