inspectorjury ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 22:06:15 Oh I can put the tapes on the computer. One of these days when I lay my hands on a guitar I can practice on. Who knows I may give you a live performance. LOL __________________________________________________
snotpokkit ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 21:56:04 I doubt it was! And I can definitely see you in a rock band. What were some of the names? I would love to hear that if you ever find it. See if you know anyone who can put your tapes onto CD - I could do it but wouldn't necessarily trust the things to the mail. You could do an entire post just about that! __________________________________________________
inspectorjury ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 16:24:03 This may come as a surprise to you but I used to play in rock bands for years. I started playing bass, then graduated to rhythm guitar. Then I started writing my own music. The trouble is I no longer play and I can't locate any of the recordings of my music. I never did learn to read and write music so my tapes were my back up. Maybe my music was so bad that it's better that it is all lost. __________________________________________________
snotpokkit ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 15:04:14 That's a good question.. I think it can, but it's also caused riots and hate. It's a strange thing, music...it definitely has an effect on people regardless. But certainly when a piece of beautiful music comes out of one that has been disliked for whatever reason by others, it forces the others to reconsider. I've seen that happen many times. __________________________________________________
inspectorjury ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 12:55:20 You're most welcome Candy. I think that music teaches tolerance even if only for a moment. Don't you? __________________________________________________
snotpokkit ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 09:33:33 That was really beautiful, Dave. Few people are so capable of having an open mind and overcoming their discomforts (or prejudices or intolerance, as for some it is). So many of your videos have a theme of tolerance, and how people should be more tolerant - I wish more people were like you, we'd have a more peaceful life. Thank you for sharing this. __________________________________________________
inspectorjury ::: Favorites 2007-11-18 21:04:51 My pleasure. __________________________________________________
SwimCoachC ::: Favorites 2007-11-18 21:03:20 Very thoughtful, tolerant and true. Love seems to sneak up in the most unlikely of ways and there is little one can do but to accept it and be thankful for the experience of love in our life no matter the form it is presented to us. Thank you for sharing. __________________________________________________
inspectorjury ::: Favorites 2007-11-18 02:53:11 Thank you Chris. I debated a long time before posting this. __________________________________________________
inspectorjury ::: Favorites 2007-11-18 02:52:42 You are most welcome. __________________________________________________
inspectorjury ::: Favorites 2007-11-18 02:52:28 Thank you so much. That is such a kind thing to say. __________________________________________________
bugsinrug ::: Favorites 2007-11-18 00:24:13 True love is true love ... no matter what. If two people share a bond so strong that it seems their hearts beat in unison ... who are we to judge? I always enjoy your vlogs. Be well my friend, hugs, Chris __________________________________________________
