The fact that Haditha exposes a practice that happens frequently and unreported has lead many conservatives to deny it. Merely suggesting that Haditha didn't happen shows the strong denial system implanted in the American psyche when it comes to accepting responsibilities for various atrocities worldwide. I believe the number is far higher, without even counting the millions that were killed by U.S sanctions and bombings in the 90s not to mention those killed at the hands of Saddam who was a U.S puppet. This goes without even mentioning the injured which dwarfs the death toll, or those who have been displaced and detained unlawfully. __________________________________________________

The majority of the insurgency is made up of Iraqis, but yes, there are groups from other countries that are involved, they are a minority however. Haditha is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to U.S military atrocities and babykilling occurring in Iraq along with mass rapes.
