Description:

During the hard-fought Haitian Revolution, which occurred roughly a decade after the U.S. Revolution, the government of George Washington, which talked about 'liberty to all men', entered the conflict, but not on the side of liberty. The Washington Administration authorized the grant of $400,000 — a vast sum in the 1800s — not to support the forces of freedom, but to the white planters. They sent money to the French for arms and food to support their resistance to the uprising. America's secretary of state, Thomas Jefferson, writer of the Constitution, did the actual paperwork. When it came to slavery or freedom, the Americans, slaveowners themselves, chose slavery to support.

Whether greed not, the obvious about this is that globalization only occures in the "third world". Those third world are thus created through regime changes..etc. So the bottomline is imperialism and racism toward non Anglo!

Obviously it wasn't the same as in the US and in other countries during that time, but the point is change is possible, and that is only possible when one learns from the past and attempts to institute the knowledge gained from that mistake. What better person/country to make that change than the guilty? Now it doesn't always happen like that but it is and should be that way. NOTE: THE USA doesn't seem to have learned from their past, or at least learned how to make a positive change.

What happened in the past shouldn't stop a country/person from attempting to set a proper example. If you look back in history you'll see that slavery was commonplace.

Disney also owns a televsion network which one it is escapes me right now, in any case it goes to show you the conflict of interest these "amerikan media outlets" have when trying to report unbiased world news. And of course all the networks owners (all major corporations) stick together in their web of lies and propoganda
