Description:

See a Malaysian Boeing B-747, a KLM B747, a Martinair MD-11 and a Crossair Saab 2000 take off from Amsterdam airport Schiphol. Listen to the sound of those mighty engines as they spool up. They leave from the runway "Polderbaan" where they give the spotters an excellent show!

I see the GE-logo on the KLM 747 and the P&W-logo on Martinair's MD11 (it's actually not a DC10 but they do look alike; the MD11 has winglets and a curved tail-engine). Don't know with what engine brand the MAS Cargo 747 has been equipped...

Lovely video. The Saab is such a beautiful aircraft. Notice the 2 747s seemed to have GE engines? They seem to sing more? DC10 had PWs I think? Love the sound. Jets turn me on! Thanks.

Well, this is some of my "older" footage that I had never been able to post because I didn't have the equipment. I think it's 2004, maybe 2005 and unfortuntately, I didn't keep track of flight# that day. I usually film between 14:00 and 16:00 (2pm/4pm) but a number of KLM747's take off between 2 and 4...
