Description:

Scotty and Bob play a great version of "Sweet Georgia Brown" at the Ohio Fingerstyle Guitar Club http://ofgc.bizland.com/ in Feb 2005. "Caution", this will either inspire you to play better or make you want to burn your guitar!! Check out Scotty's website at http://scottyandersonguitar.com/

I love this, and now I am going to dust off all my old Les Paul records. This what a real guitarist sounds like, unfortunately the young ones never get to hear them. They sure make it look easy when its near impossible for most.

NateS911 or Chuck, I realize Scotty has been influenced by many types of music. I notice that Joscho Stephan has appeared at the CASS convention. Scotty has much of the precision and speed of the gypsy jazz guitarists, though his picking technique is different, though flawless. Has he been influenced by the great gpysy guitarists like Django, Bireli, Dorado Schmitt, and the Rosenberg's. I am just curious. Keep any new postings coming guys, and thanks.

The only player I've seen live that is "as good" as Scotty Anderson is Joscho Stephan (I think that is the way you spell it). It too was at a OFGC meeting with primarily guitarists in attendance. Small room, intimate atmosphere. Doesn't get any better! (Oh I guess if they served beer it would be a tad better)

Fantastic! Soul, humor, technique! The only tard in this house is the guy below who wouldn't know a g-string from a g-string. Sheesh. Thanks for posting.

This guy is truly a master guitarist and Bob Saxton just makes it better, they've both got such swing!!!! If only Danny Gatton had got the chance to jam with Scotty as he had hinted at before his sad demise....imagine that record............?????
